4 Best face masks for glowing skin

After a long tiring day at school or work, my dry skin is always craving a face mask. Below I tackle all my favourites for everyday, moisturizing, exfoliating, and purifying. I can rely on these face masks to refreshen my dull, parched and tired skin out in 30 minutes!

For everyday: A'PIEU - Daily Sheet Mask (Green Tea)

I love these A'PIEU sheet mask for when my skin is parched and just need a little bit more hydration. They are not too heavily soaked in a thick essence which is perfect for just a light refresh! These are simple and quick to use as you can pick them up easily from the included tweezer and absorb super fast. They contain green tea extract which  instantly calms and soothes your skin, aloe vera extract to soothe and hydrate your skin, and bamboo and tea tree extract to reduce the appearance of pores.

For a moisturizing boost: Fresh - Crème Ancienne® Ultimate Nourishing Honey Mask

I don't normally spurge on a face mask, but this one is amazing and totally worth it! This face mask contains 40% pure honey which is intensely moisturizing and nourishing. After using this mask, my skin is super soft and silky - I can never stop touching it! This mask is what I use when my skin is feeling at its lowest and I can always count on this to pick it right up. It also contains some sugar grains which helps to very lightly exfoliate your skin too. Don't be scared tho - coupled with the luxurious cream of the mask itself, it feels amazing to spread.

For exfoliating peel: Olehenriksen - Power Peel Transforming Facial System

This is a powerful 3 step face mask that is spa worthy! It contains a scrub, an AHA facial peel, and a mask to transform your skin after one use. These 3 step packages work to smooth your skin, exfoliate it, and to nourish it - leaving it radiant and brightened.  As this is of professional strength, I do not recommend using this for more than once a week. Even if you use it once a week, I would not use my daily chemical exfoliants like my COSRX BHA or AHA essences with it during the week. As such, this is what I use after I have been neglecting my skin from using chemical exfoliants to break down the oils, clean my pores and remove dead skin cells. I really do feel immediate results after using this as my skin feels extremely clean and nourished.

For purifying - Goodal: Deep Clean Pore Glacial Clay

Last but not least, I must include a clay mask that will absorb your oils and clean your pores. As mentioned in my previous blog post, I have dry skin. However, I still occasionally get oily and I want to maintain my pores so that they do not get clogged - which may then turn into enlarged sebaceous filaments or blackheads. As such, I maintain my pores with a clay mask and this is one of my favourites! It is not as inexpensive as other favourite clay mask (Glam Glow Super Mud Activated Charcoal Treatment Mask), but it is just as effective for me! It is impossible to get rid of your pores, but these definitely make mine look instantly smaller. Another thing that I like about this face mask is that it is not as drying as other clay masks while still being effective.
